Welcome to convertmax-app.com, a website (the “Website”) owned and operated by ConvertMax Ltd. (“ConvertMax”, “Company” or “We”).

ConvertMax provides applications for merchants operating on the Shopify platform. This Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) describes the privacy practices for the Website. It also describes the rights and options available to you with respect to your personal information.

We create amazing apps designed for merchants- our mission is to help you as merchants improve your stores easily and comfortably while using the simple and familiar Shopify UI and concepts.

This Notice does not apply to ConvertMax Applications. For the privacy practices related to the Applications, you should read ConvertMax other privacy notice.

Information request. When you submit a request for information through the Website by filling in a “contact us” form, we collect your full name, e-mail address, phone number and your store’s URL. When you ask for information through our chat option, we collect the information you choose to provide. When you sign up for our mailing list, we collect your e-mail address.

Sign Up. If you wish to comment on our blog posts, you must sign up to the Website. When you sign up to the Website, we collect your e-mail address and password. You may also sign up to the Website with your Facebook or Google account. When you sign up to the Website with a third-party account, you allow us access to your profile information from the applicable third party.

Meta Data. When you access the Website, we collect the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer or other device you use to visit the Website.

Analytics. When you access the Website, we use third party analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel, to automatically collect aggregated information about your use of the Website.

We process your Information request data to enable communication with you and provide you with the requested information.

Right to Rectify inaccurate personal data we have concerning you and to have incomplete personal data completed.

You have the right to transmit this data to another service provider. Where technically feasible, you have the right that your personal data be transmitted directly from us to the service provider you designate.

Right to Withdraw Consentto processing your personal data, at any time. If you do that, we will still process certain information on legal basis other than consent, as described in this Policy. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of data processing we carried out based on your consent before such withdrawal.

Right to Object, based on your particular situation, to using your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest. However, we may override the objection if we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds, or for the establishment, exercise of defense of legal claims. You may also object at any time to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

Right to Restrict processing your personal data (except for storing it) if you contest the accuracy of your personal data, for a period enabling us to verify its accuracy; if you believe that the processing is unlawful and you opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests instead to restrict its use; if we no longer need the personal data for the purposes outlined in this Policy, but you require them to establish, exercise or defense relating to legal claims, or if you object to processing, pending the verification whether our legitimate grounds for processing override yours.

Right to be Forgotten. Under certain circumstances, such as when you withdraw your consent, you have the right to ask us to erase your personal data. However, we may still process your personal data if it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation we are subject to under laws in EU Member States or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

We reserve the right to ask for reasonable evidence to verify your identity before we provide you with information. Where we are not able to provide you with information that you have asked for, we will explain the reason for this.

If you are in the EU, then according to Article 77 of the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or of an alleged infringement of the GDPR. 

The Website is not intended for minors under the age of 16. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect information from minors under the age of 16.

From time to time, we may change this Notice, in which case we will notify the change on the Website. The latest version of the Notice will always be accessible on the Website.
